Twilight

Oh gawddddd.....I am SOOOO lame.

I bought the "Twilight" movie today, ok? and I hate to say this...buttttt

I kinda liked it.

Don't tell anyone! they'll think I'm flakey and weird.

I know I said it's corny and really really bad...and it is! But it kinda grows on you after you see it the first time. Really. It's going along good and then they have to throw something corny in there, like "Hang on spidermonkey" and Edward goes flying through the forest with Bella on his back. CORN.

But I do love me some Edward. I gotta admit that. I don't care if he never takes a shower or washes his hair....as long as he brushes his teeth, er....fangs.

corny, I know.

I just bought it for DQ. She's been sick and I though it might help her feel better. Turns out, Edward has great restorative powers, though I personally belong to Team Jacob. I actually took her see that in the theater for her birthday, so I had to watch it with 5 teenage girls and then listen to them quote lines and squeal for the 30 minutes it took to get home. I'll probably borrow it while I clean my room or something. Because I'm lame too.

There is no telling how many times Alaina has watched that movie. I keep meaning to watch it, but haven't had the chance yet. I think I'll try while Chris is at the Y today. I 've gotta get laundry done and get things ready for my trip on Tuesday!!!!!

Ok. That movie was just ok. But Jul liked it. The books are good. It encouraged her to read. SO I'm ok with the movie. It did have it's good moments, but it's not on my top ten.

So you are not lame. To each their own.

Love ya!

I personally think you have to have read the books to really enjoy the movie... because it is full of corny. {But I love it!}

I sooo need to get the movie - I read the first book but lost my stamina to start/finish the second. Hmmm... maybe the movie will help. I have to see what everyone is talking about with this Edward!!

Also? I gave you an award! Hope on over to claim it if you want!

We saw that on Netflix a week or so ago and enjoyed it, also. So for Easter I got it to add to my oldests basket. Its a win/win for me. ;)

I've watched it 2 times already. And had Jay gone to work today, it would have been 3. I know what you mean, I know the movie was pure corn, but Robert Pattinson is so dreamy. And it seemed to get less corny the more often I watched it. Maybe because I get up to get water or a snack when I know a "Spidermonkey" or flying part comes up. It helps.
