Peony buds, just waiting to bust open
this is just ONE Hosta! They are in full, hot afternoon sun...aren't they supposed to be in the shade? Oh well, these take over every summer and get bigger and bigger.************************
My kid won District Champ in the 400 meters on Saturday! Woohoo! On to Regionals on Thursday...and then if he makes it to finals and finishes in the top 4, he'll go on to State. Unfortunately, I won't be here for the finals on Saturday, cuz
I'LL BE IN NYC!!!! But I will be checking in to see how the race is going.

My Peonies looked so good this year! Leah's grandmother had her pull some up when she moved and I planted them three years ago. This is the first year that I had multiple blooms, and the first year for PINK!!!! But hell, they are done blooming already!
My three hosta's in the back are freaking huge and beautiful (were). Freaking Wyatt Fuckface decided it was fun to lay in the middle of them and smashed them. I put a fence around them and there are new parts growing back.
