some things on my mind today:
In the paper the other day, there was an article about a little boy who was found beaten by his step-father. the father hit him and put hinds fingers down the little boys throat and yanked on his uvula. think about that for a minute. WHO DOES THAT? I think they should do the same thing to this so-called "man" and I use that term loosely.
My dog keeps whining.....all. day. long. She is very obese, and I think she might have fleas...and she can't reach them to scratch. I've put flea stuff on her....I've done all I can think of, and yet she still whines.
It's getting closer and closer to Trooper's last day. Makes me sad.
Last night, I was taking pictures of a football game for a friend of mine...my Senior son was there with his football buddies after practice. The one kid said to me, "Wow! you have the prettiest eyes!" Evan looked at him real mean..."Don't say stuff like that to MY MOM. Are you nuts?!" HAHAHAHA!
Another friend is offering to "invest" in my photography business. He wants me to get together with another woman from high school...she does photography too, and maybe we could team up. I'm going call her and get together for lunch and talk about it. it would be great to have someone else to do weddings with , ya know? Kinda hard to do a wedding all alone and still come out with good photos.
My husband has been talking to me for the last few days. That's a good thing. Some days he says nothing to me..I don't exist....but he's talking to me now, so I'll take that.
I am sweating like a fricking PIG! Do pigs sweat? I don't know, but if they do....then I am sweating like one. I'm drinking a cup of tea and sweating.....
Project Runway tonight!
I haven't heard from "the job prospect" yet....They were supposed to call me this week. But it's already Thursday...hmmmm. But if the photography thing works out...I won't NEED that job!

How old are your labs? My two old lady labradors - Rosie (black) is 12 and Heidi (yellow) is 11.
I think, with your sense of humor and adventure, you'd do a great job of wedding photography.
Pigs don't sweat. That's why they roll around in mud -- to get cool. Although on my grandfather's farm there were showers in the pig pen for that purpose. They stepped on a pedal to activate the shower.
You DO have the most beautiful eyes!!! :-)

The photography venture sounds like a great opportunity - being paid to do something you love!
And I feel for you about Trooper - I really do. (I still miss Major.)
Beth: ya...how do you know for sure it's time? some days I think, "Ya, he's ready to go" and others. he's running around, getting into trouble like he did when he was a puppy!
Damn! What did they do to that step-dad? I hope his ass is in jail.
My poor Maddie! She needs her butts scratched for her! Are you going to take her to the vet?
But I LOVE Trooper! He is the sweetest old man I have ever met!!! So very sad.
I wish you great luck and fortune on the photography thing. Who knows, maybe one day I'll hire you to shoot at Alaina's and Ariana's weddings! AHHHHHH!!!!!!!!
Of course, Ariana will have to tell YOU how she is going to pose!

We put something on our lawn 2 years ago that is supposed to naturally keep fleas off our dog. I was very hesitant, but you know what, it worked. It was very inexpensive, I'll find out what it is and let you know.
And no, pigs don't sweat. The don't have sweat glands. And I know this because some pig farmer in my graduating class called me on it when I did an essay on Animal Farm. Dumb book. I hate that girl to. this. day.

This is why I want to decide who gets to have children and pets. Horrible things need to be done to that man and anyone else who hurts children.
That poor girl who was abducted by that sex offender and kept in the secret back yard and had two children by the pervert will need therapy the rest of her life.

My heart is with you on the pet front. I told myself repeatedly that when it was time, Timon would tell me. In his own way, he did. I still miss him, even reach for him, but it was the right thing to do. He gave me too much over the years for me not to spare him suffering.
