My kid is FARRRR from a "gay basher". I didn't think it was offensive, but then, I'm not Gay. So I apologize profusely to all of my Gay friends, who I love with all of my heart and soul.
The boys were making fun of the Girard football team..not Gay people in general. I don't know about the other boys, but I know MY KIDS. I don't tolorate that in my house, and they know it. they love their Uncle Tranny dearly, and would never want to hurt him in any way.
As far as reporting it to the school and shit like that....go right ahead. Doesn't bother me any.

I thought it was cute... you could tell they really practiced! I wasn't offended (I'm a man in a dress, remember?) but there are those in the gay community that are always looking for a chance to play the discrimination card. It was harmless.... calm down! We all love you and Evan!

Okay ... don't know if you read my journals, and even if you did, you wouldn't know how 'metrosexual' I can be. I have been doing the 'manscaping' thing since I was in high school. Shaving my legs enabled me to feel 'pretty' in high school when no one else did or would tell me.
In fact, taking as long as most women in the bathroom was a compliment for me. Anywho, I didn't watch the video but saw the pictures. I don't think that it was mean spirited at all. As to the particular social significance of the skit, my thing is to tell people like Anon, 'screw you if you can't take a joke.' It is obvious that they don't know you or really even care to, you feel me?
People who know you or can 'vibe' you know that you or your son aren't the type to do hateful things. Sometimes, being 'club memebers' in a marginalized group doesn't mean you are open minded, but again, anyone who has an open mind can tell that you are sensitive and caring.
