Working at the video store, I get to watch ALOT of movies....A LOT.
"Terminator Salvation".....BORING. hated it. didn't even watch the whole thing.
"The Hangover"...LOVED IT! 2 snaps and around the world and back!!! FUNNY!!!! makes me want to go to Vegas and steal Mike Tyson's tiger!
"The Other Man"...boring. didn't finish it. I DO like Liam Neeson tho, ever since "Taken" which is my FAVORITE movie ever. I wanna BE him.
"G-Force"...Great movie!
"Carriers"...BORING. It's some disease movie where everyone dies , but they never tell you WHAT it is or HOW it came to be...nothing. Hated that movie.
"The Ugly Truth"....FABULOUS movie and SO SOSOOOO true on so many levels.
"The Proposal"...good. and you get to see Ryan Reynolds without a shirt and practically naked, so it can't be bad, right
"Four Christmases"...meh. It had some funny moments in it, but the chemistry between Reese Witherspoon and Vince Vaughn just isn't there. I remember reading that they hated each other and you can kinda tell.
"Funny People"...NOT funny. Sad and very depressing.
"Taking of Pelham 123"...John Travolta is a very good bad guy. good movie

I'm sorta liking working there now. It can be mind-numbingly boring at times, but I'm getting some "regular" customers who ask for me now, and lots of old men flirt with me and ask me to "help" them pick out pornos. and I just have to say this about the pornos....I have never seen so many HUGE HUGE asses in my life. How do these women get their asses SO DAMN BIG??!! sheesh! and one old guy came in looking for "Natural Bush #36". We didn't have it. He left very upset. He'll just have to make do with "Natural Bush #28"
There's this one guy who comes in....I call him Smartass. cuz he IS one. But he's also very nice and ornery, which I just love. he throws his movies at me and generally harasses me non-stop, which I also love. Ilove it when I can tease someone and they can tease me right back, ya know? LOVE THAT!! But the store DID get robbed right before I started working there, so at night, which is the only time I work, we always lock the door. We have to unlock it whenever someone shows up, and then we lock them in...then have to let them out. yes, it's a hassle,but we really don't want to get robbed again. Well, he always comes in at night and makes sure we're locked up and he'll sometimes sit in his truck in the parking lot..keeping an eye on us. Nice.
Then one night, a little girl came in and asked to use the phone to call 911 cuz her step-dad was beating up her mom and she lived next door. To make a long story short, the cops arrived MUCHMUCH later and didn't arrest the SOB. that was in interesting night. I got yelled at my Marvin cuz I was out in the parking lot talking to the mom of the little girl...."STAY IN THE STORE!" ya, whatever....
So there is always something interesting going on. Much better than just sitting at home, listening to the boys and the dog snore, ya know?

No matter how you do it (working in a video store, going on trips), getting “out there” in the world makes a huge difference in life – you get to discover yourself!
I have to say your man was probably right, STAY in the STORE! Domestics can get seriously n.a.s.t.y. That said, I would have been out there too.
Never dull, that's a good thing.
I just added two of the movies to my Netflix (The Hangover and Taking of Pelham 123). Keep 'em coming.

I love your recommendations, keep them coming when you can. Especially the Porno ones, KIDDING. But I do like to hear the regular movie ones, I'm taking your advice.

I love the fact that you're getting out of the house and earning some money. But the fact that you have to "help" old pervy men with their porn selections kind of freaks me out.
Seems like you should be earning "Hazard Pay" for that kind of job!!
