Life is funny.
Yesterday was my last day at the video store. We worked for 13 hours closing up the store, packing up any movies left after the big .99 sale, packed up all the computers and crap like that. Left the store empty and spic and span.
and I got home last night at 10:30...and I was soooo sad. At first, I hated working there, but I grew to LOVE it. I finally get my ass out there to get a job and now I'm unemployed again! gotta start all over again.
I grew to love the people that I worked with. I'm pretty easy going...not high maintenance at all...get along with everyone. (basically) ;) HA! I DO carry a gun tho!
There were only 5 employees and the boss, who was a really cool boss. He worked with my traveling schedule, the basketball schedule...he was cool.
I'm gonna miss them. Esp. Cat, my Work Wife. She was friends with my oldest boy and I always joked that they needed to get married so that she could really be a member of my family. But we text daily, so I don't think there's a chance of us parting ways!
At first, the "regulars" coming in asked for the girl who worked before me, who I replaced...but then they started asking where I was when I had the day off. I had my little "groupies" who wanted to take me out, marry me, take me away from all "this"...and my regular pervs, who came in to rent porn. And Cat and I were the only women who would go back to the porn room, so all the pervs thought we were cool...could we recommend any "good porn"? Well, no we can't, cuz is there ever really any GOOD porn? ;)
So I start from scratch again. Not looking forward to it. But it will be fun to make new friends, I guess. that's getting easier too. It used to be very very hard for me. Not anymore.

I always liked my jobs where it felt *right* and only left them when we moved or the twins came along.

Hey babycakes! So sorry to hear of your loss of the porn room. Sometimes it's the most off-the-wall things we miss the most!
I'm glad to be taking care of our girl! She needs all the help she can get right now and who better than a whore to give it to her! haha (wait, that didn't sound right, did it?)

You go girl..that is what it is to live...and I think I would even miss the porn room because I am nosey and always want to figure thoughts guys out!
