You know how I never win anything?

Well, I WON something!!!

I'm a "fan" of Cleveland Hopkins Airport on that evil Facebook....and I won a $100 vacation coupon from Conntinental airlines!!! WOOHOO!!!! The only thing is, I have to use it by May 10, 2010.

But I think I'm going to use it to go see My girl Rae!!!! I haven't seen her new house yet, cuz I've been to busy flitting across the country, so I NEED to spend some time with her. She and Mike will be here for graduation, but I think a trip for Mama is in order!!!

My boys get so mad at me cuz I'm never home anymore! ;)

I leave again Friday for a little reunion of sorts with some girlfriends. I plan to add to my portfolio while I'm away, so I count this as "work"!!!!

I really want to see the movie "Date Night" with Tina Fey and Steve Carell. Love both of them and it looks funny. It's nice to have a comedy that isn't centered around kids who take over NYC or something like that.

I think I need a new cell phone. I have Verizon, and I like them,but I'm on my 2nd phone now. I have an Envy Touch and the first one I had, the touch screen went caput. that broke when I was in Texas with Bean...they gave me a new one. Now it will spontaneously shut off, I open it up and the screen will go completely blank...its a mess. Maybe I should go with a different brand of phone.

Now that I've done the CCW thing, and gotten my certification and license, I'm looking for a "new thing" to do...and I'm thinking of skydiving. I've always wanted to do that..and there is a small airport near me where they skydive and give lessons. I think I'm going to look into that. A friend of mine gives scuba lessons too, so that's a possibility. Marvin has his passport ready...I don't. I still have to apply, which I will be doing on Friday ($$$). I'd love to scuba dive in Cancun or Cozomel or something like that.

and it was so hard when I was younger...I had kids, so I had no "free time", we had no money to speak of. 4 kids in school, means alot of shoes and school clothes,, yada yada. and some of our friends were still single or married with no kids, and they went on vacations and cruises and traveled and went out all the time...dinner, movies and stuff.

and it was hard to have to be home all the time.

Now? We're planning things and going places and they're home with kids, cuz they waited to have kids. Our kids are grown and out of the house...so now we get to enjoy all this! I love it! So it makes it all worth it to be young when I had my kids.

lunch yesterday was a sectioned orange, sliced avocado with a little salt and pepper. IT WAS SO GOOD!!!!!! Dog said I should add a splash of balsamic vinegar and a little evoo....next time I will, which will probably be later today! It was the bomb!
