I made my way to my first winery.

Friends of mine go all the time...

drink wine and tour the winery.

Well, this time I was finally able to go.

and I loved it.

Got lots of great shots and left a business card too.

Networking!!! you'd be proud of me Dog!!! lol

So next week, I'll go North and hit a few more. and maybe drink a glass or 2 of wine while I'm there....tho I'm not much of a drinker.

So I've been sleeping on the couch again.

The bats are back and booming.

We've only had 2 so far this summer, but one actually LANDED ON MY FACE AND NECK in the middle of the night. Then the following week, we had another one at 3:30am....Marvin tries to whack it with a tennis racket. it lands on the bed and STARTS TO CRAWL UNDER THE COVERS.....so he hits it with all his might. Only he didn't actually hit the bat...he hit my f&^%$#% ankle!!!!!!! I thought it was broken! But hey, he eventually got the bat, so I didn't care. Ankle is still black and blue and swollen...but not broken.

I've asked him a number of times to clean out the closet and see where they're coming in. I think they're coming in around the chimney and the chimney is in the closet....so....clean it out..and check all the nooks and crannies. I will help him as long as it's during the day. :) But I've had no luck with this yet. So I am on the couch. Again. (sigh)

I have some really fantastic exciting news that I cannot wait to share...but I haven't been given permission yet. It's not exactly MY news but it is in a way......how cryptic is THAT?!! :) But it's all good news and I can't wait to tell you all about it. SOON!!!!!

I have been super super busy with this photography thing. Who woulda thunk it, right? :) But it's really going good, and I'm loving every minute of it.

and for all of you asking me...No, I haven't heard from Bina!!!!! I have called her...sent her messages on Facebook...left voice mails..yada yada...the girl will not call me back! She must be busy with her New Man....cuz if things were bad, she'd be calling me! So don't worry about her. I'm not. But I DO miss her terribly.

My youngest boy will be 16 on Monday. SIXTEEN. Where has the time gone? especially since I'm only 29. :-)
