46 degrees out and rainy...

so Im partaking of a huge bowl of butter beans with lots of rosemary.

I think rosemary might be my favorite herb...I put it in all kinds of stuff. and when I cut it, or brush up against it...the aroma fills my kitchen. LOVE THAT!!!

Took Murphy ( ya...he's no longer Rocky) to visit with his brother, and they played for 2 hours and now he is knocked. out. I LOVE this dog. and to think I almost didn't get him....how empty my days would have been. he has been the best medicine for the whole family. We can actually talk about Trooper without breaking into tears now. and we know Trooper would have loved Murphy, so that helps too.

I've gained 7 pounds. SHIT!!!!! Im not walking. I need to get back to it. simple as that. I REFUSE to gain this weight back. I was almost to my goal weight too.....I hate myself right now. weak. UGH. ( i guess eating a whole stinking bag of starburst doesn't help either) :(

So Marvin and I want to get away for a weekend. He wants to go somewhere warm...I want to go to California and see Zombie Mom and Fighting Mad Mary again. he's never met them and I want him to BAAADDDDDDD. and we so need to get away by ourselves. haven't done that in years....Evan finally got his license (YAYAYAY!), so I don't feel so bad leaving the boys home by themselves. They are responsible enough to handle it for 4 days....good boys. (at least I think so till something happens!)

So do any of ya'll have any good ideas on where to go, for CHEAP?
