I am so in love with this dog!!!
I am so thankful that I decided to get him.
He has livened up this house, let me tell ya.
He is spunky and feisty and full of personality. He loves to snuggle and he sleeps right by my side at night. I wake up in the middle of the night to find him licking my nose..or chewing only ear lobe. I LOVE HIM!!! He sleeps on his back with his head on my shoulder and just passes out.
he's actually walking on a leash now and doing a great job. I walk him down the road every day and he walks like a proud little soldier...trotting along beside me..on a mission.
I never thought I'd be a "Little Dog Person". I LOVE my Labs...they're still the best dogs ever. But this little guy? he's pretty good too.
but I refuse to get a dog stroller. Sorry Bean! I just cannot do that. Rae and I saw a woman at the mall last year, with her dog in a stroller and we just looked at each other and rolled our eyes. I refuse to become one of those crazy old women!!! ;)
But Maddie Girl still doesn't like him. so we keep them separated most of the time. She smells him...he wiggles like crazy to get to her...but she won't have any of it. We walked them both in the yard yesterday....she pretty much ignored him. It went...ok. We will be doing that every day...outside...till she can get her act together. he aint goin no where girl...get with the program!!!
I still miss Trooper terribly...every single day. But I know he would have loved Murphy and would have been teaching him all kinds of ornery things.
His best friend, Kitty, lives on our porch. He torments that cat every day....playing with his tail..pulling his whiskers...cleaning his ears..and Kitty just takes it all in. Of course, Marvin is scared to death of cats...(they're evil) and says I have to get rid of it or he's going to shoot it. so I'm trying to find him a home before Winter. But I wouldn't mind keeping him...he;s very friendly.
So my days revolve around Murff Murff right now. and they're good days.

big strong ol' Marvin is SCARED of cats? Obviously, that only applies to the four-legged variety and not 'other' kinds of cats (of which, most men happen to be fans of!)
I think once I really get settled in, I am going to look for a cat as a roommate. Anywho, glad you are happy with you new puppy.
Tar - Tarfus - and Abby - Demon Pixie - say arf to Murphy! I tell them all about Aunt Rosie and Aunt Heidi - miss them forever.

froggy: I will tell him. Im sure they are with Trooper...having a ball...and getting into trouble of some kind. we will always miss them. our pets are our children. xoxox

Hell, I wouldn't get a doggie stroller either. I mean, WTF? Maybe when we are old or something and then it doesn't matter if people make fun of us!!!
I miss my Wyatt every single day, too. But he is in a good home with a little boy he loves and that loves him and they are together pretty much 24/7. So I'm very happy for him, too.
