Murff is good...fleas.

He has fleas.

But it just can't be that simple...ohhh nooooooooooooo.

He's highly allergic to them..and to dust mites...and just about everything else.

Good Lord!!!!

HE JUST A DOG!!! (did I really just say that outloud? I hope he didn't hear me!)

So, he got a steroid shot, Frontline, Interceptor, and he's on a steroid for the next month.

the cost, you ask?

$107.00

for a dog that weighs 4.7 lbs. Thats 22.77 per pound.

But he's totally worth it.

but DAYUMMMMMM.

The Engineer always *said* each dog gets one big medical intervention. He never stuck to his rule.
Thinking good thoughts for Murph!

I've never tried to work it out by the pound! OMG...

I am sorry, but that was funny.

Hope Murff is feeling better soon.

Quiver, quiver, quiver.

Glad it's something not too serious--just annoying! We had the same problem last year with our cats and it turns out Frontline makes one of them sick. An alternative we found that really works is called Capstar. It's a pill that we put in their food. Thank goodness it works, because apparently I have "sweet skin" and they get me as bad as they do the animals. I hate fleas!

Actually I think you are getting off cheap for the value... such an adorable little dog who loves you and I mean LOVES YOU unconditionally..? Yup, a pair of good running shoes or the love of another sentient being..? Oh man, NO CONTEST..!
