Hello 2012!!

With Pinterest and all these really creative blogs out there, I'm feeling inspired.

My daughter, Rae, has been a creative genius lately! She moved into a new house and is working really hard to make it a "home", ya know?

To be honest, I haven't done that in YEARS. I've been "lost" and just haven't felt like doing anything. But I working on getting my mojo back.

I know I've said I love Pinterest, but I REALLY love it. and it pisses me off there are so many imaginative and creative people out there and I aint one of em! But that will come back to me. I just know it. If I had it once, I can have it again.

and I just have to say...2011 was a really good year for me. So 2012 has alot to live up to! ;)

Things with the husband are are really really good. I know people don't believe in spending time apart, but I think it really helped us. It made us see that we MISS each other. He has been so SO good to me lately. I'm really enjoying it! :) Sometimes the "old" husband rears his ugly head, but for the most part, he is a new man. Which makes me be a new woman. I like knowing that we're doing this together...that we really and sincerely want to make each other happy. Nice way to start the year out, huh?

and the show "Tabitha's Salon Takeover" is on right now, in the background...and this owner of this salon is crying...and crying...and crying. Good Lord Woman! SHUT UP!!!! I love me some Tabitha!! She tells it like it is and is not out to make friends. and she's badass!

I've been thinking about blogging...and how long I've done this. To all of you who've been with me for years, do you remember, "Baron"? He was a really cool guy, and he died suddenly. I've been missing him lately. And Uncle Buff too. I would have loved to taste his award winning chili.

Just some thoughts running through my head this morning. and Murff and I slept till 10:30. That felt so good! Usually he's up at 8, but not today! WOOHOO! I've been super sick since New Year's Eve so the sleep was much needed. We closed down the kiosk at the mall last night so I had to go in for 5 hours and pack up. that was a long 5 hours when you feel like puking! But I miss it already. :(

So we had a bad storm last night and got some snow. so I think Im gonna brave it and take my sick butt outside and take some photos of some snow. Cuz ya'll know how much I love me some snow.
